Test Accommodations

High-stakes exams including the SAT, ACT, LSAT, MCAT, and GRE are administered by agencies including the College Board the College Board. Just because a student has a 504 Plan or an IEP that provides accommodations such as extra time for tests does not mean that the student will receive accommodations from agencies such as the College Board. Students must prove that their disability substantially limits a major life activity such as learning, reading, writing, thinking, or speaking and must establish the reason their disability requires a specific accommodation.
